Create Filtered Budget

Budget from specified bid/phase of takeoff

This app creates a budget for a job from the 9-5 Takeoff screen. The budget is based off of the parts entered in the takeoff. A specific Bid Item or Phase can be selected or the budget can be based off of the entire takeoff. It will replace any existing budgets for the job.

Setup:

  1. The zMaxOneClick app must be run from an existing 9-5 Takeoff record.
  2. The 9-5 Takeoff must have the budgeted parts entered.
  3. A cost code must be entered on each part.

Steps:

  1. Open the 9-5 Takeoff screen to the appropriate record.
  2. Confirm that all parts for the budget have been entered with cost codes.
  3. Save any changes.
  4. Click the zMaxOneClick app and choose Create Filtered Budget.
  5. Choose the specific bid item and/or phase or select all and click Create Budget.
  6. A confirmation screen will pop up once the budget has been created.
  7. Go to the 6-2 screen to view the created budget.

Story:

Joe contractor would like to select which bid item and phase of the takeoff he wants to export to a budget. His clients do not always approve every item that is quoted and S100C will only export all of the phases

Return on Investment:

Joe is able to select which bid item and phase he wants to export with the zMaxOneClick app. Now he does now have to deal with exporting the entire takeoff and then making edits to the budget, or entering the budget by hand.
