Create Phases by Department

A job phase is generated for each department

This app creates phases for each 3-5 job based on the departments.

Setup:

  1. 1. The list of departments must be set up in the 3-5 screen.
  2. 2. App must be run from an existing job record.

Steps:

  1. 1. Open the 3-5 jobs screen to the appropriate record.
  2. 2. Click the zMaxOneClick app and choose Create Phases by Department.

Output:

Story:

Joe Contractor would like to see the job costs broken down the same way that he views the income statement. In order to do this, he is manually entering phases to each job to match the list of departments on the income statement.

Return on Investment:

The zMaxOneClick app creates the phases for him, saving an additional 5-10 minutes data entry per job.
